Bette W. Sydnor of Mt Laurel, formerly of Lumberton died Sun June 23, 2002 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt Holly. She was 80.

Mrs. Sydnor was born in Londonderry, PA and was a graduate of Kennett Square HS.

She had been a bookkeeper for Cundiff Oil in Mt Holly and had been a former Den Mother for Cub Pack 22 in Lumberton. She had also taught the Adult Sunday School at the Lumberton Methodist Church for over 20 years. For the past 15 years she had lived in Kilmarnok, VA before returning to the Burlington Co area.

Surviving are her husband Al of Vincentown, Donna Ross of Cape May, Mark Josef Sydnor and his wife Ann of Gainesville, GA and Wendy Burler and her husband John of Moorestown. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Amy King, Beth Lyman, Dane Sydnor, Zachary Sydnor, Mitchell Butler and Melinds Butler. She was also expecting the arrival of her first great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Thurs 11am at Perinchief Chapels, Mt Holly. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Lumberton. Friends may call Wed 7-9pm at the funeral home.

Contributions may be made to either the American Lung Assoc or the Memorial Fund of the Lumberton Methodist Church.
